Book Bonanza

It's our annual used-book sale with more than 50,000 hardcover and paperback books. There are children's books, classics, collectibles, teacher materials, reference items, audio, video, records, puzzles and magazines. In non-fiction, there are books on history, biography, science, art, health, nature, hobbies, languages, sports and a large number of cookbooks. Our fiction selection offers all genres. Our collectibles area contains unique and special books; first editions, autographed copies, coffee table format, local interest and books by local authors as well.

Who needs to hear from you?

Your public libraries depend on the support of state, county and local governments, local clubs and non-profit organizations. These entities have many competing demands on their limited funds and need to know that you value the library as a community resource.

State Government

Each of us has a representative and a senator in the PA State General Assembly. They have offices in their home districts, and they have contact forms on their websites. Use this link to find your legislators.

County Government

Berks County is headed by three commissioners, elected at-large.
